Itinerary
You’ll start at 77 Bridge Street.

Pass by the Prince Murat House at 246 St. George Street in St. Augustine. Prince Achille Murat (nephew of Napoleon Bonaparte) and American poet Ralph Waldo Emerson stayed here in the 1820s to fight a bout of illness. This 1790 coquina house is an excellent example of Second Spanish Period architecture.

Stop at Aviles Street in St. Augustine for 10 minutes. Extending south from the Plaza to Bridge Street, Aviles Street is one of the city's narrow, brick-lined, historic streets that has retained much of its colonial character.

Pass by St. George Street in St. Augustine. Starting at the Old City Gates and extending to historic Lincolnville, St. George Street is the center of shopping, entertainment, historical sites, attractions, and restaurants.

Pass by the Father Miguel O'Reilly House Museum at 32 Aviles Street in St. Augustine. With parts of the structure dating back to 1691, the O'Reilly House is St. Augustine's oldest standing home. Father Michael O'Reilly moved into the house in 1785 and was a leading figure in the cathedral's construction. Upon his death in 1812, he left the house to the Catholic Church. It is now operated as a museum by the Sisters of St. Joseph.

Pass by the Plaza de la Constitucion at 1 Cathedral Pl, St. George Street, between King Street and Cathedral Place in St. Augustine. The plaza has been a central part of St. Augustine since 1573 when the Spanish Royal Ordinances first laid it out.

Pass by Treasury Street in St. Augustine. The narrowest street in the city! It is only 7 feet wide, making it almost impossible to steal gold being transported from the ships to the Royal Spanish Treasury.

Pass by Castillo de San Marcos National Monument at 1 S. Castillo Dr. in St. Augustine. The oldest and largest masonry fort in the continental United States. It was finished in 1695 and survived two British attacks. It is not part of the National Park Service.

You'll end at 3 St. George Street near the Old City Gates.
